Orient to stage open day

28 July 2010

ORIENT will hold their annual Open Day at Brisbane Road on Sunday August 1.

An open training session on the pitch will be the highlight of the afternoon, with O's fans able to see Russell Slade put his new-look squad through their paces.

There will be autograph and photo opportunities galore - including the chance to be part of the team photo - along with opportunities to meet all of our new signings, as well as the management team.

Raffles and competitions, with the O's first team squad trying the crossbar challenge, will offer some fantastic prizes, while club mascot Theo will also be making an appearance.

The action all kicks off at 11am - the training session begins at 11.15am - and O's boss Russell Slade is urging O's fans to attend.

"The Open Day will offer the fans a great chance to watch us train and see how our preparations for the new season are coming along," he said.

"It's a great opportunity to meet all the new boys and it will be a fantastic day out for all the family.
