Event for stroke survivors

23 April 2010
STROKE survivors and those keen to avoid suffering from the condition can enjoy an afternoon of fun with a serious message.

Newham Stroke Club has organised the event, at the Katherine Road Community Centre in Katherine Road, Forest Gate, next Wednesday April 28.

Lively music, dancing as well as the chance to meet other stroke sufferers and Stephen Timms, the Parliamentary candidate for the Labour Party for East Ham will be on offer between 1pm and 4.30pm at the centre.

The centre also plans to host a stroke awareness day on Wednesday May 12 with information stalls and other health checks.
