20 July 2010
A MISSING 96-year-old man with a history of memory loss has now been found apparently safe and well, Scotland Yard confirmed this morning.

Full details have not been released but the police spokesman said Mr Kailasapillai Subaramaniyam, a Sri Lankan national, was taken to Newham General Hospital for a check-up.

He was last seen leaving his home in Goldsmith Avenue, Manor Park, on Thursday to visit his son's place of work in nearby High Street North. When he did not arrive police were alerted and they instigated a London-wide appeal.
