OUR special TV reviewer Eddie has had his say again about what's best on TV this week....
THURSDAY JUNE 10: BBC2. 9.30pm. World Cup Kick Off Concert. Music for the football loving masses. Channel Four. 9pm. Come Dine With Me. Footballers Special. Cat food will almost certainly not feature. But if there's chicken, I'm in!
FRIDAY june 11: Channel Four. 10pm. Eight Out of Ten Cats World Cup Special. Magic. A programme of some class. BBC 2. 11.45pm. Film. It's All Gone Pete Tong. A famous DJ living in Ibiza is struck by disaster when he starts to go deaf.
SATURDAY JUNE 12: Channel Five. 2.50pm. Film. To Sir With Love. Teacher from North Africa comes to work in our manor! And that's the warm-up for the pick of the week... ITV 1. 6.15pm. World Cup Live. England v USA. Come on England. You can be purr-fect!
SUNDAY June 13: BBC 2. 8pm. Top Gear. The magnificent trio in action. Even better the second time around. Channel Four. 10pm. 100 Greatest World Cup Moments of All Time. Please tell me Pickles the dog ain't in it.
monday JUNE 14: Channel Four from 12.30pm. Four episodes of Celebrity Come Dine with Me. Excellent move. BBC 1 10.35pm. The Graham Norton Show. He's a cat lover, so we like him. This won't be a football free zone.
TUESDAY JUNE 15: BBC 1 9pm. Crimewatch. Keep your eye's peeled...especially for mice in the garden. Yum. Channel Five. 9am. Bert and Ernie's Great Adventures. Sesame friends.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 16: Channel Five. 7.50am. Make way for Noddy...and BigEars.
