OUR special TV reviewer has his say again about what's best on TV this week....
THURSDAY JUNE 17: Channel Four. 12.30pm. Celebrity Come Dine With Me. More mad moments where the top cats get the cream. 10pm. Tiger Woods: The Rise and Fall. It's sad when tigers fall off their perch...
FRIDAY JUNE 18: ITV 1.6.30pm. World Cup Live. Algeria v England. You can see me showing my support (left). We have to win this one. Can ITV arrange to screen five adverts in this one. Then we will have a great win! Joe Cole, Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe to start, PLEASE. BBC 1. 10.35pm. Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. Can he introduce a guest with saying the word Mr and fawning all over him?
SATURDAY JUNE 19: BBC 2. 9pm. What Makes a Great Soprano? A big gun and an Italian accent...oh, and membership of the Mafia? Channel Four. 10pm. Jason Manford: Live. Funny Man.
SUNDAY JUNE 20: BBC2 6.05pm. Film: Chocolat. Yummy. Channel Four. 10.05pm.New Series of Alan Carr: Chatty Man. He's my favourite.
MONDAY JUNE 21: 9pm. The Royal Family. A repeat but still better than most stuff on TV. BBC 2 8pm. Today at Wimbledon. Get in the mood for smaller balls. Channel Five. 11pm. Film: Reservoir Dogs. Bit nasty but brilliant.
TUESDAY JUNE 22. ITV 1 9pm. It's back... The Bill. Despite effort to kill it off even earlier than they planned, but moving it and abusing it, the best police drama of all time returns.
One day, ITV will realise what a wonderful British institution they should have protected at all costs. Tape every episode from now on and show your children.
WEDNESDAY JUNE 23. BBC1. 2.15pm. Match of the Day Live: England v Slovenia. Come On England! Channel Five. 6am. Milkshake. I just love it.
