Unusual new venue for theatre lovers...

THEATRE lovers have discovered their newest venue is...a big tent in Canning Town.
The unusual "mobile venue" has been erected on a green opposite the Tube station is showcasing theatre companies and local artists and even fashion shows from local and international companies.
Running shows up to July 18 the arts venue is part of the London-wide International Festival of Theatre (LIFT).
One up and coming show is 'She from the Sea' by Zawe Ashton and performed by Clean Break Access students on July 8 and 9.
It tells the story of Pearl, Masha and Edlin who choose a simple life by the sea to forget their pasts. But when a mysterious visitor is washed up, she brings with her a dark history that threatens their new way of life. Let her stay or make her swim is the question they must answer?
The production is the final piece by students on Clean Break's Access to Theatre Course, the company's most advanced training programme. The nine actors have been studying intensively on the course since 2009 and are set to graduate with an Open Tickets are free, though a donation will be asked for and there are performances are at 7.30pm on both days with a 2.30pm matinee on July 9.
